N.D.Tiwari's Fatherhood

It's blaring everywhere. One would think that N.D.Tiwari has been declared the Father of the Nation. Yes, the DNA test has proved that he is the biological parent of Rohit Shekhar.

This was a personal matter. But, now the Congress will be shamed and the opposition will use it. It's a small step from sperm 'bank' to vote bank.

My views on the subject are not in keeping with either prevalent morality or sanctimonious sympathy. Rohit Shekhar is no underdog.

Earlier he said that he was not illegimate, it was Tiwari who was. Fair enough.

Now, after the judgement, he declares, "I am not illegimate. I have a father."

He has a mother, too, and a step father who his mother was married to when she conceived him with Mr. Tiwari. Let us not talk about morality.

If Rohit Shekhar wanted legitimacy, then a public spectacle was not the best route to take. However, typically, expect the media to shreak and shed tears about justice at last. TRPs will get a rise. India shagging.

Yeah, if Viagra was invented in Time ;-)

    >>This was a personal matter.

sure any tom, dick and harry would get that many appeals before having to provide DNA sample.

I doubt it, people will forget it before the next episode of Indians Octogenarians Got Talent!

That sounds a lot like 'morality' tale from Panchtantra. He was a pig and she was sleeping around. Sorry, Kid. Match is a draw!

    >>Rohit Shekhar is no underdog.

Definition of 'underdog' depends on the 'dog' you are fighting.

Just cuddle up to Daddy and hope he is in good mood?

Daddy finally gets nailed, mommy gets even and Boy gets trust fund.

You really don't like happy endings, do you?

    >>India shagging.

Hope not as much as Laloo, though.

  2. Look at his statement, "the entire episode a well-planned conspiracy to malign his image".
All politicians at present in India are thieves and ill-mannered. Thats what the "image" the public have about politicians.

No morality tale on my part. I just do not like two moral standards for the same thing.

The media is the dog that makes such underdogs. N.D.Tiwari's canine traits should have been considered years ago.

As for legitimacy, he did indeed cuddle up to daddy and his mommy took pictures while papa was asleep (see evidence in my linked piece).

And, yes, after all the talk of not wanting anything, he is looking for compensation.

I do have problems with hoisting up people only because they fight people we don't like/are not supposed to like.

Yes, indeed, it is about image. If it was not the case would have been fought without media attention.

I don't have a morality manual for politicians that is any different from the rest of us, except where it comes to their role as ministers and 'public servants'.
